So thrilled and honored that my painted Subway Car Dresser is featured in the February/March 2015 edition of Cottages & Bungalows Magazine!
You may remember the tutorial I posted on my blog about the dresser here. It is one of my favorite projects because it brings to life so many memories of growing up in Boston.
It is also an original concept that lends itself to reinterpretation in oh-so-many ways!

My friend Elyse Major, a fellow Rhode Islander, author & home décor magazine contributor was so smitten with this playful DIY project that she wanted to find a way to showcase it to a wider audience.
Enter the talented Morayo Sayles of Piper Brown Photography and the next thing you know Elyse & Morayo are working their magic styling and photographing my ode-to-Boston subway car dresser in my Bristol, Rhode Island home!
I so enjoyed this creative collaboration and seeing the feature in Cottages & Bungalows Magazine’s Idea Notebook. The article is so wonderfully written by Elyse and beautifully photographed by Morayo. It is cleverly titled “Ticket To Ride.” Lucky for me I get by with a little help from my friends!
